What's in a name? No, I'm not going for some classical literature breakdown here, this is a more personal thing. What does having a name, giving a name, finding a name mean? Things Half Done

"THE TALE OF TRUTH", I call it.  Name might be changed later.  This is the most challenging part of the entire thing.  This is the part on which all the rest is anchored, the part where the main characters bare their hearts and show their true natures.  Once this part is done, it'll be two, maybe three more parts tops and the Saga will be brought to a close.  Naturally, it makes it difficult to write.  When I started, I had a gameplan--go no more than 7 days without updating the Saga of Crow and Moth, until it was done.  Sadly, my plan is broken, but I hope my reasoning is sound.  Not going to lie, been some poor time management with th

What I'm not. What I am.

  I am not White Feather.  I am not Black Mark.  I am not First Crow, or First Spirit, or Silent Heart, or True Spirit, or any of the others that have yet to be seen.  Many writers put themselves into a story.  As an observer, as a character, as a rumor, or a legend.  There are reasons for this, but they are not my reasons.  I do not write myself into my stories.  I'm the one who does the writing, and that's enough for me.  I do write others in, though.  Each of the other characters is in some way inspired by one or more people.  People I know, not that I 'know of', people I have met and interacted with in reality.  White Feather is so ob
